Bushrod wants silence

New Orleans Saints left tackle Jermon Bushrod eagerly hope the NFC championship game can be played in somewhere the quietest.

He wants to hear the calls from his teammates with saints jerseys clearly and have his best chance to keep star Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen in check. “You want the fans to be excited and all, but just kind of calm when we’re on the field,” Bushrod said of the Saints offense. “As a defensive player, it’s great having all that noise,” Allen said Wednesday, hoping that playing in the Superdome will help more than hurt. “I think we have an experience playing down there. We’re used to playing in a dome. We’re used to playing with loud noises so I think it’s kind of a blessing in disguise.”

Colts do not want to go to the same road

The Indianapolis Colts are trying to recall the bit playoff memories.

Tracing back to 2005, they had a bye week in January and lost in the AFC championship a year earlier. They experiences the same scenario against another AFC North foe, Baltimore on Saturday night. “That was 2005, and that was a completely different team,” defensive end Dwight Freeney said. “It was a completely different defense. There’s not much that needs to be said other than ‘This is the playoffs.’ Either win or go home.” They are healthy this time , at least, no one was absent from the practice this time.

This time the players with colts jerseys learned a lot from the exits.

Schottenheimer chooses Jets

It is said that Brian Schottenheimer refused the offer from Bills to be a head coach. The Jets offensive coordinator said on Thursday.

He is the son of former NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer, controls his fourth season running the Jets' offense. He helped some rookies such as quarterback Mark Sanchez who had established the NFL's top-ranked rushing attack. “A lot of thought went into it, but as I told you guys a couple of weeks ago, the biggest thing for me is the fact that I’m happy,” Schottenheimer said. “I haven’t always been happy and I love the direction of this team. We’ve got a lot of time invested in the players and coaches, and I think there are a lot of good days ahead.”

Schottenheimer choosed to live with players with jets jerseys.

McCarthy says they need to improve

Though finished a little bit, the Green Bay Packers went towards in the right direction as a franchise.

Now they have some big plans to make for their next step playing the Super Bowl next season. After the playoff loss at Arizona On Sunday, Packers coach Mike McCarthy did not figure out the possibility of changes to his staff. “Every year is different, every football team is different,” McCarthy said Wednesday. “You need to rebuild, reload, restructure. We have a good foundation. We have a program, a blueprint that works, but we need to improve it because we did not get past the first round.” Though their new coordinator Dom Capers' effection did not work at once, they accomplished something in 2009.

They have some experience from the past year and they will make it with their players wearing the packers jerseys.

Mangini excited about Browns' new team

Browns coach Eric Mangini felt excited about the new company. Last week he learned he would be back for a second season with the Browns.

Mangini said It’s pretty great to be up there with three other people answering questions and he can get used to it. At the same time, it's good to have another voice in a group or an organization. “This is a real fantastic situation for me personally and for us organizationally.” Last year, he almost fight with the rest of the NfL alone without any help, but now he has a team. Now he has the permission to add players and build the Browns.

Mangini will only need to coach the players with browns jerseys this season because Mike believes a coach should coach.

McNabb wil be back

No.5 eagles jersey will be back to Eagles for a 12th season.

According to Eagles coach Andy Reid, Donovan McNabb will return to philadelphia next season. “That’s my call,” Reid said Monday. “I think he’s a great player. His work over the last 11 years has proven that. I truly believe it’s a team sport; it’s not one guy.” McNabb has led the Eagles to five NFC championship games--going 1-4--and one Super Bowl appearance. McNabb wanted to go back after the loss to the Cowboys. He also said he's liking to talking about the contract extension. So that would seem to extend his contract beyond 2010.

Reid said McNabb got a nice little kick for the next few years there in salary.

Vikings better be ready for Cowboys

Minnesota Vikings hero QB Brett Favre better set all the soul to the game this week. The Dallas Cowboys comes to be against them next Sunday for an NfC Divisional playoff game.

Of course, Favre and Vikings are famous for their strong offensive line and a strong running game. But their defense also has fewer holes to exploit. Yet, Dallas is on the type of roll where only injury or self implosion could set them back. "We are playing as good as anybody right now," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said. "Our defense is playing outstanding and our offense is playing really well and our special teams are playing really well. We know Minnesota is undefeated at home. They have a lot of weapons and they are a very good football team. They are the No. 2 seed for a reason."

I expect this game and I really like the No.4 vikings jersey.

Cowher may steps in Bills

Bills owner Ralph Wilson said they has talked with Bill Cowher about the coaching job and the owner is not sure whether the former steelers coach has interests in the job.

“I don’t know,” Wilson told The Associated Press during a brief interview from his home in suburban Detroit on Friday. “You’d have to ask him.” Wilson was the first person to talk about the matter and he claimed he would not put too much energy on coaching search but every thing is ongoing to do that. Refusing to give a time limit on the search, Wilson said “we don’t want to rush into hiring a coach just to be hiring somebody quick.” He then added: “We don’t want to hire a coach with a splashy name.” At the same time, Seatle Seahawks are also looking for a new coach.

Wilson thinks some one with a defensive or offensive background is not considerable. He just wants to have a person who has much passion. Who will be the one coach these players with bills jerseys.

Rookie Edelman has much chance

As many new England fans, running back Fred Taylor was impressed much when he saw Julian Edelman.

"I was excited," Taylor said Tuesday. "I told a lot of my friends we have another young guy very similar to Wes Welker and you'll remember his name." He was the former college QB and much close to Welker's height of 5-foot-9, is expected to fill in the empty after Welker underwent a season-ending knee injury. Welker missed the practice since the Pats praciced for the first time Tuesday. He had an MRI on Monday according to the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports. The pats declined to say anything about the condition of Welker. Welker and Edelman are similar in size and style. But Edelman has a long way to go to stand on the same line with Welker.

Let's wish this guy with No.11 patriots jersey can accomplish much in the future.

Mangini is still in doubt

Eric Mangini went out the the frosty field Sunday as Cleveland's coach in his first season. Nobody knows whether he'll back or not.

New team president Mike Holmgren will have a meeting with Mangini in the next day or two to discuss his future. When the Browns (5-11) were 1-11 following a Dec. 6 loss to San Diego, there appeared to be no chance of Mangini returning for a second year. But most of the players with browns jerseys showed their support to Mangini-- rallied and closed the season by going 4-0, the Browns' first four-game win streak since their expansion rebirth.

But Mangini himself is proud of the progress he made in the Browns.
